Where have I been?

Once again, I've been missing, but I promise I've till been in action. With the ACL tear and having to take things slowly, it's been a challenge just doing everyday things, let alone blogging. Thank you to those who have reminded to please update my blog! I have a lot to catch up on, but I think I had something that may be just what the doctor ordered, especially for me! I'll post a few pics right now, but rest assured, I have so much more coming!

Nichole- Bridals. Sneak peek!

I had a terrific time shooting some bridals today! Beautiful place called "The Castle". Really looking forward to this wedding next month. Gonna have a great time shooting with a great team of photographers coming with me!

The beautiful Isabella!

This is our beautiful niece, Isabella! She is a princess and has her daddy and brothers wrapped around her little finger. She has two older brothers who have been great models for us in the past. My brother in law, Timo, and his wife, Kim, have some beautiful kids, and we hope they keep them coming!

Got so much to catch up, but I'll take it steadily, and a little at a time! Gotta give credit to my wife for getting these photos done for me. This dang knee injury really set me off track, and is testing my patience. Thank goodness for a talented, and supportive wife! So, although it says photography by Maka, you have to know it's a team effort!

I'm back, and I want to share these bridal shots!

Ok, I've been sidelined with an injury and surgery for quite some time. I know some have wondered where I disappeared to. I assure you, I'm still alive, and I've even managed to get some work done. It's been rough these past couple months, but I'm getting better, thanks to my loving wife, and a visit from my mom.

I wanted to post these bridal shots a long time ago, but the bride did not want her groom to see her wedding dress before the wedding day! She is absolutely beautiful. Her wedding was this past weekend so I have the "green light" to post these photos.

I have so much other work to post and catch up on, so please come back. Now that I'm doing better, I'll start posting again. Thanks for your patience!

Sometimes I forget that I have two perfectly great models in my own house! Actually one is perfectly willing, and the other one does whatever he wants. I was lucky enough that the second was interested enough on this day to keep still and pose! Hahaha! My boys were born with a camera in their face. I'm so glad they don't mind. They're growing too fast!!

Sneak peek: Marisa & Eric:: DC Wedding Photographer

What a great trip to DC! Although it was hot and humid, I had the best time photographing this beautiful couple! I couldn't have asked for a more handsome couple to work with! I had an opportunity to spend some time eating ice cream, bowling, and just hanging out with the groom, and "the guys".

I love to travel for weddings, although I miss my family so much. Getting beautiful shots, and getting the creative juices flowing is always great for me! Thank you to the Kelley, Smith, and Jarvis families for a great weekend and hosting me in DC!

By request of the bride, I held off posting these photos until she was able to show some of her family members. This was such a great shoot at an exclusive location. A big "mahalo" to the owners of this beautiful property!

I am working on the actual wedding day photos from this couple so I should have some more great photos of these beautiful newlyweds in a few more days!

Veronica & Spencer

While I was in Los Angeles, I had a chance meeting with this wonderful couple! They happened to be looking for a photographer to help them with their engagement photos!. I was excited because they had some terrific ideas for locations in LA. We decided to meet at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA. It was so awesome. I got there a little early and walked the grounds, and I was amazed. I've never seen anything like it before! If you ever go to LA, it's worth the time to make a visit there!

Well, Veronica and Spencer thought of everything, and we had such a great time! I could tell they put a lot of thought into what they had envisioned. We were able to get so many different types of photos, and I'm very excited to share them!
