As promised...

Since I've been out of commission for a while, I got a little behind on some of my work! I did a little sneak peak for the Navalta Family, but I promised more photos for you to look at. Well, as promised, here they are.

In anticipation of this photo shoot, I was a little leery of the amount of kids that would be there. In past experiences, it can be a little nightmare trying to make sure they are all happy and ready for photos. I made sure to get plenty of rest the night before, and I ate a good breakfast in my preparation for what I thought was going to be a long morning!

Well, Malia found a great indoor place to shoot with plenty of natural lighting without the natural cold. Thanks for thinking ahead Malia! To my surprise, all of these kids were very well behaved. No one threw a fit. They all remained in control and took direction very easily! I couldn't have been more thankful. I enjoy family photos when the kids make it easy on me. I'm sure that being in a warm area helped, but I think these kids would have been fine anywhere. What a great treat! It was a bonus that all of them were so cute.

While I worked with individual families, Jeane ran around and took individual photos of the kids. I think we both had a great time. It's always fun to watch families interact with each other. Watching the Navalta family, I could really see a lot of closeness, and gratitude that they could all be together for the holidays. I could also see that they must have had a fun time growing up together in Hawaii.

I am happy that you all asked me to capture some memories for your entire family at such a special time of year. Jeane and I had a blast, and we were very impressed with all the kids. I hope you all made it home to your various destinations safely. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

Out of Commission!!!

I'm sorry! I have been sick in bed for the better part of 2 weeks now. I've been unable to do anything but lay in bed and have my wife wait on me hand and foot. I'm very blessed to have such a patient wife!

I have so much work to catch up on, and I'm just excited to be out of bed. I'm still not 100%, but I'll be catching up on some work first thing tomorrow morning!

I really have to thank my awesome wife for keeping our house in order, and keeping me sane. She kept up with all my liquid intake, and food needs. She's also posted a few photos for the blog so it didn't look like I just died.

I love my wife so much, and am truly blessed to have her in my life!!!

Sagapolutele Family!

Wow, this family was so fun. They were such good sports about being out in the freezing snow. When they first called me and asked for family photos, I was a little surprised, because most families don't want to go out in the cold to take photos. I figured if they were game for it, then I was too! We had a great time.

When I first met up with them, Hunter showed me that he has been practicing his smile. He is a very handsome little guy who loves his little sister a lot. We've known Fili and Pania for a long time now. Fili used to be Jeane's laughing partner when they used to work together. We also used to participate in the BYU Luau year after year, and these two were always in charge of the Maori section. They always did a great job with the music and choreography.

Well, thanks again guys for a fun photoshoot! Have a nice trip to San Diego and Merry Christmas!

Busy Holidays!

Things have been so busy lately, and I haven't had a chance to post anything lately. We have a few more photoshoots this week, and then I think it's Christmas Break time! I'll be posting some more photos soon, but even more exciting will be the big news and specials that I'll be announcing very soon!

ben, marie and kanoa

We did some engagement photos for Ben and Marie a few years back, and now here they are with their son Kanoa. What an attractive family!

Kanoa is about 6 weeks younger than Malachi and he is so cute. When he was first born, I thought he looked mostly like Ben. Now that he has grown a lot, I see a lot more of Marie in him. He still has Ben's hair though.

We had a terrific time taking their photos. Kanoa was being a little shy, but I don't blame him. It was a little cold, and I think he was awaken from a nice nap in the car.

Thanks for the great time guys!

More Fabulous Fanos!

Well, we've known the Fanos for a long time. I think I've known them for about 10 years now... right before Maria and Jr. were married. Now here they are with their 4 beautiful kids. I've had the pleasure of photographing these kids since the day they were born! They are so much fun, and photogenic!
We've been taking their family Christmas photos for the past few years, and we tried something new this year. We got so lucky with the weather. It was nice, and not too cold. We were scared it might too cold for little baby Sailiata. The 3 older kids obviously had a blast throwing rocks in the water and running around.

We really love this family. Jr. and Maria are always opening their home to us for the Holidays and other get together. Malachi loves to play with these kids the most. We see him around other kids, but for some reason when he plays with Gracie, and Toa, he gets so excited. I think he has a little boy crush on Gracie, because he loves to run and chase her. He likes to give her hugs and kisses too!
Well, we have some more photos to post, but I wanted to get this up and running, so this is just a little sneak peak! Things have been a little crazy trying to catch up since we were away so long!
Maria and Jr... Thanks for always being so kind to us. We love hanging out with you and all your family. Thanks for having some of the cutest kids in the world for us to take photos of. We love and appreciate you guys. We are so grateful for your friendship!
