Bridals/Groomals:: Utah Wedding Photographer

By request of the bride, I held off posting these photos until she was able to show some of her family members. This was such a great shoot at an exclusive location. A big "mahalo" to the owners of this beautiful property!

I am working on the actual wedding day photos from this couple so I should have some more great photos of these beautiful newlyweds in a few more days!

Veronica & Spencer

While I was in Los Angeles, I had a chance meeting with this wonderful couple! They happened to be looking for a photographer to help them with their engagement photos!. I was excited because they had some terrific ideas for locations in LA. We decided to meet at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA. It was so awesome. I got there a little early and walked the grounds, and I was amazed. I've never seen anything like it before! If you ever go to LA, it's worth the time to make a visit there!

Well, Veronica and Spencer thought of everything, and we had such a great time! I could tell they put a lot of thought into what they had envisioned. We were able to get so many different types of photos, and I'm very excited to share them!

Best of luck to the two of you, and I hope your wedding day is all you dreamed of! I know it will be beautiful. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of it in a small way!

Japan!

So, I went to Japan a few months ago, and I haven't shared any photos on my blog. I shared quite a few on my FB page. When I went for an early morning walk I found this interesting building. I really like how the photo came out, and I wanted to share! I have so much more to blog about!

Anyways, I really, really love Japan!!

"Pretty Sweet"

My sister in law recently had a bridal shower, and it was a great success. My wife and her team of best friends did an awesome job, and they arranged a great menu, that was topped off with awesome sweets by a new company called "Pretty Sweet"! If you take a look, you'll notice that it's all pretty, and definitely sweet and delicious!

My wife's work!

Since we have two little boys, it's been a lot harder for my wife to accompany me on most of my shoots. She loves photography, and any chance she gets, she loves to get out and shoot! She took the opportunity to practice on her younger sister who is getting married in a couple months, These are just a couple of the shots she got, and I love them! I also love any chance I get to show off my wife's work and skills. I'm so amazed at her abilities as a wife, mother, and awesome photographer!!

Claudia and Darrell Engagement shoot:: Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

What a beautiful day with a handsome couple to match! Sometimes it's so easy to see how much in love a couple is, just by the way they interact. Even with just the smallest things. I never get tired of seeing new love in all it's excitement!

Sorry I haven't blogged forever. I was in a groove too! Life's been busy! I have some great photos to post soon, but can't do it right this second. Just wanted to let you know that I'm alive, and well!

Kristyn & Tony:: Utah Wedding Photographer

Amazing looking couple! I swear I luck out with the best looking people to photograph! Meet Kristyn and Tony. Tony is a buddy of mine from a long time ago when I used to work at Red Lobster. I was so happy to hear from him when he said he was engaged. I was even happier for him after I met his fiance, Kristyn. She's a beautiful person, inside and out.

We had a great photo session. These two really made it easy. Didn't have to do much coaching or telling them to get closer. It was a great time, and I'm really looking forward to their wedding day! Congrats you two!

By the way, the shooting conditions on this day were the exact opposite from the last shoot I had. Instead of a clear blue sky, and more sunshine than you ever want to shoot in, things were completely different. This weird Utah weather is really playing tricks on us. It was almost a little too overcast, and we had a nice little window of time to shoot without any rain. It was great, and I'm happy. Just roll with whatever comes your way!

Rashida & Benson Part II:: Utah Wedding Photographer

I had an engagement shoot with this couple a few months back, and it was freezing out, so we also scheduled a springtime shoot so we get a few more shots with a different look! We originally planned on going into the Provo Canyon and getting some nice shots at Bridal Veil falls, but we got there and it was closed to the public. Always have a backup plan. That's where my wife is so good. She mentioned a place that we checked out a few months ago, so we headed there!

Before we got there, I already knew the shoot was going to be a challenge. Noon day sun, and not a cloud in the sky. A challenge for me, or any photographer. Those conditions are not normally my ideal setting. No shady spots for even lighting. Just plain old bright sunlight! Anyways, with some creative thinking and assistance from my wife, and our new lighting assistant, Ben, we were able to get some shots that I think really turned out nice!
