I'm back, and I want to share these bridal shots!

Ok, I've been sidelined with an injury and surgery for quite some time. I know some have wondered where I disappeared to. I assure you, I'm still alive, and I've even managed to get some work done. It's been rough these past couple months, but I'm getting better, thanks to my loving wife, and a visit from my mom.

I wanted to post these bridal shots a long time ago, but the bride did not want her groom to see her wedding dress before the wedding day! She is absolutely beautiful. Her wedding was this past weekend so I have the "green light" to post these photos.

I have so much other work to post and catch up on, so please come back. Now that I'm doing better, I'll start posting again. Thanks for your patience!

Sometimes I forget that I have two perfectly great models in my own house! Actually one is perfectly willing, and the other one does whatever he wants. I was lucky enough that the second was interested enough on this day to keep still and pose! Hahaha! My boys were born with a camera in their face. I'm so glad they don't mind. They're growing too fast!!

Sneak peek: Marisa & Eric:: DC Wedding Photographer

What a great trip to DC! Although it was hot and humid, I had the best time photographing this beautiful couple! I couldn't have asked for a more handsome couple to work with! I had an opportunity to spend some time eating ice cream, bowling, and just hanging out with the groom, and "the guys".

I love to travel for weddings, although I miss my family so much. Getting beautiful shots, and getting the creative juices flowing is always great for me! Thank you to the Kelley, Smith, and Jarvis families for a great weekend and hosting me in DC!

By request of the bride, I held off posting these photos until she was able to show some of her family members. This was such a great shoot at an exclusive location. A big "mahalo" to the owners of this beautiful property!

Veronica & Spencer

While I was in Los Angeles, I had a chance meeting with this wonderful couple! They happened to be looking for a photographer to help them with their engagement photos!. I was excited because they had some terrific ideas for locations in LA. We decided to meet at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA. It was so awesome. I got there a little early and walked the grounds, and I was amazed. I've never seen anything like it before! If you ever go to LA, it's worth the time to make a visit there!

Well, Veronica and Spencer thought of everything, and we had such a great time! I could tell they put a lot of thought into what they had envisioned. We were able to get so many different types of photos, and I'm very excited to share them!

Best of luck to the two of you, and I hope your wedding day is all you dreamed of! I know it will be beautiful. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of it in a small way!

Japan!

So, I went to Japan a few months ago, and I haven't shared any photos on my blog. I shared quite a few on my FB page. When I went for an early morning walk I found this interesting building. I really like how the photo came out, and I wanted to share! I have so much more to blog about!

Anyways, I really, really love Japan!!

"Pretty Sweet"

My sister in law recently had a bridal shower, and it was a great success. My wife and her team of best friends did an awesome job, and they arranged a great menu, that was topped off with awesome sweets by a new company called "Pretty Sweet"! If you take a look, you'll notice that it's all pretty, and definitely sweet and delicious!

My wife's work!

Since we have two little boys, it's been a lot harder for my wife to accompany me on most of my shoots. She loves photography, and any chance she gets, she loves to get out and shoot! She took the opportunity to practice on her younger sister who is getting married in a couple months, These are just a couple of the shots she got, and I love them! I also love any chance I get to show off my wife's work and skills. I'm so amazed at her abilities as a wife, mother, and awesome photographer!!

What a beautiful day with a handsome couple to match! Sometimes it's so easy to see how much in love a couple is, just by the way they interact. Even with just the smallest things. I never get tired of seeing new love in all it's excitement!
